OBITUARY Robert “Bob” Leon Loy August 25, 1929 – October 18, 2018 Play Tribute Movie Robert “Bob” Leon Loy, 89, of Kokomo passed away October 18, 2018. He was born August 25, 1929 in Kokomo to Joseph and Mildred (Hodson) Loy. Bob joined the army and served 15 years as active and reserve; he was a member of the American Legion.

Bob was a SCUBA diver and worked with Civil Defense. In 1950 he married Willie B. English and together they raised 4 girls. Bob was employed at Haynes Corporation, retiring after more than 30 years.

He enjoyed many activities, but bowling was his favorite, earning many trophies. He loved spending time with his family. In addition to his parents and wife, Bob is preceded in death by his brother, Billy; twin sisters, Lois and Louise; and one great grandchild, Colton.

Bob is survived by daughters, Sharon (Ronald Sr.) Dulgar, Joan Dishon, Rhonda Huffman and Marla (Dr. Dennis) Basco; nine grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Sunday, October 21 at 2:00pm at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home, 2097 W. Alto Road, Kokomo, IN 46902 with service to follow at 3pm; officiated by Mr. Rick Horton.
