Obituary for Robert “Bob” McCalebb Robert “Bob” McCalebb 1934 – 2018 Robert “Bob” McCalebb, 83, passed away in his home on August 19, 2018, in California City, California. He is survived by his sons, Reginal and Michael of California City, California, and Marc McCalebb of Saginaw, Michigan; a daughter, Tonya Covington of Memphis, Tennessee; his three sisters, Willa, Muriel, and Hillary; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by wife, Aiko.

Both were former residents of Niles, Michigan. He was born on November 5, 1934, in Indianola, Mississippi, to Orell and Annie (Lindsey) McCalebb. He proudly served his country as a U.S. Air Force veteran.

Robert worked as a machinist for Clark Equipment Co. and later for General Motors until his retirement. He will be missed by many. A memorial service has not yet been scheduled, and the family requests sending any memorial gifts in his name to the American Red Cross at: www.
