Robert “Bob” Sumasky September 23, 1945 – January 10, 2019 Share this obituary Local Florists Upload Photo| Sign Guestbook| View Guest Book Entries Robert Steve Sumasky, age 74, was born September 23, 1945 in New York City, New York and passed away suddenly Thursday, January 10th, 2019 at UT Health Hospital in Pittsburg, Texas. At the age of five Bob’s family decided to move to Florida. He was a resident at The Springs Nursing Home in Hughes Springs for five years.

He had worked for Anheuser Busch, Coors, and as an insurance agent for Globe Insurance. Bob was preceded in death by his previous wives, Shirley Papendick and Veta Bales. He is survived by his children, Bobby Sumasky of Flordia, Tammy Sumasky of Flordia, Jeff Papendick of Idaho, Steven Papendick and wife Cindy of North Carolina; three grandchildren all of Flordia; former wife, Debra Gardner.

Special thanks to The Springs Nursing Home for all of their special care for Bob. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 13, 2019 at Reeder-Davis Chapel. Burial will follow at Harris Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs.
