Bobby was the middle child to Henry and Marion Moller. He was born in Gig Harbor and made the family homestead founded in 1889 at Sunrise Beach his home for seventy years, except for the years he served in the Army. After serving in the Army, Bobby returned home to Gig Harbor and started working with his dad at the Gig Harbor Marina.

He left the marina to work at Peninsula Light Company, where he worked for 25. 3 years, and where he had a second “family” with the guys on the crew. Bobby loved his cars and trucks, his Dachshunds, and the color red.

He excelled at being able to figure out how to fix almost anything on a car and being humble about all of the other things he knew and could do. He might grumble about having to repair something, but everyone knew he liked to do it. He was always working on the property, quietly taking care of all the many things that needed to be done, saying, “The work never ends, even though I’m retired!

” But above all else, Bobby loved and was extremely proud of his daughter, Megan Moller Schwarting, who lived next to him at “the beach” as the family property is called. He is also survived by his brother, Richard Moller (Melissa) and his three granddaughters, Stella, Leila and Eva.
