Robert Bruce Adams, Sr. age 78 of McDaniels, KY died Sunday, September 30, 2018 at his residence. He was born in Louisville, KY on August 23, 1940, the son of the late Robert and Hattie Higgs Adams. Bruce and his wife Sylvia were the owners and operators of Bruce’s Bait House in the McDaniels area for many years.

He was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church and enjoyed fishing and rebuilding musical instruments. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sons – Robbie Adams and Christian Michael Adams and his brother Richard Alan Adams. Bruce is survived by his wife Sylvia Adams of McDaniels, KY 1 daughter – Candi Brewer of New Albany, IN 3 grandchildren: Amanda, Eric and Jason 7 great grandchildren 1 sister – Linda Probus and her husband Tom of Falls of Rough, KY Funeral services will be held at St. Anthony Catholic Church on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at 11 AM with Fr.

Tony Stevenson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, 3:30 – 7 PM and Wednesday, 8 – 10:30 AM.
