Robert “Bud” Blair Prentice, age 71, passed away at his home on April 30, 2019. Bud was born in Independence, Iowa, on December 26, 1947, to the late Carl and Opal Ambler Prentice. Bud was a retired sheriff for Dewey County, Oklahoma, and drove a bus in his retirement for Cheatham County Schools.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Charles and James Prentice; and sister, Deloris Prentice. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, LaDonna Prentice; son, Rustin “Russ” (Lauren) Prentice; daughters, Robin Dean and Rena (Chris) Fancher; sisters, Jeananne Marzec and Gertrude Eggers; grandchildren, Chelsea, Caitlin, Charles, Dakota, Abigail, Carlie, Alayna, and Ava; and three great-grandchildren, Drake, Tyler, and Rylie. Visitation will be Thursday, May 2nd, from 4pm to 7pm.
