Obituary for Robert C. Ticknor Sr. Robert C. Ticknor Sr., age 88, of Fair Haven, passed away on October 16, 2018, unexpectedly. He was born on May 26, 1930, in St. Clair, to the late Cassius and Rose Ticknor. He married Carol Sue Dibble on February 24, 1962, in Marine City.

She preceded him in death on November 23, 2015. Robert served honorably in the U.S. Army. He was a retired road inspector with the Michigan Department of Transportation.

He enjoyed building model boats and spending time with his family. He is survived by his children; Karen (Greg) Gosik, Robert Ticknor Jr., and Thomas (Thomas) Ticknor-Thacker, along with several grandchildren and one great grandson. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
