Robert “Daryl” Michel, 54, of Corydon, died Friday, March 1, 2019, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon. He was born August 23, 1964, in Trenton, New Jersey, to the late Robert Herman and Marilyn Jean Morrison Michel. He was formerly employed at United Catalysts/Sud-Chemie in Louisville, and was a member of the Corydon Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his grandson, Dexter. Survivors include his son, Andrew Robert Michel (Lacy) of Corydon; his daughters, Megan Jean Michel, Isabel Morgan Ingle, Stacy Lynn Kirby and Carol Marie Kirby all of Corydon; his sisters, Sherilyn Michel Walker (Keith) of Louisville and Michelle Michel of Corydon; and his grandchildren, Jayden, Remii, Sierra, Brooklyn, Brianna and Chloe. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 6, 2019, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.

Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery near Corydon. Visitation will be from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and after 9:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
