Robert G. Davis, 72 of Old Bridge passed away surrounded by those he loved at home on April 30th, 2019. Born in Jersey City to the late Chester and Ann (Wirtz) Davis, he resided in Jersey CIty and Bayonne before moving to Old Bridge 10 years ago. Bob taught 5th grade at PS #24 in Jersey City for thirty six years before retiring.
He was a loving husband, father and grandfather, and will be missed by all. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Ruth (Hardie) Davis of Old Bridge, his daughter, Jennifer Mulewski and husband John, son Robert Davis and wife Sandra, his grandchildren, Joey Mulewski and Colin, Connor, and Dylan Davis. brother Raymond and his wife Debra Davis, sister-in-law Patricia Fantacone and her husband Louis, and brother-in-law Dennis Hardie and his wife Barbara.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate Bob’s life on Friday, May 3 from 3-8 PM at Waitt Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 501 Hwy 79, Morganville. with a remembrance service beginning at 7PM.
