Robert D. Evans, 66, of Tower City, passed away Sunday at the Tremont Health and Rehabilitation Center. Born in Lykens, September 28, 1952, a son of the late Dean and Avonelle James Evans. He was a 1970 graduate of Williams Valley High School.

Bob was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Ebenezer E.C. Church, Williamstown. He was currently employed for over 25 years at Guilford Mills, Pine Grove.

Bob enjoyed spending time with his family. He was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Flyers, Phillies and Eagles. Surviving are his wife, Martha Schrope Evans; one daughter, Coral Evans, Tower City; sister, Kimberly Evans and brother Rodney Evans both of Williamstown.

Services will be held on Thursday, January 17th at 10:00 from the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville with Pastor Brian Betsworth. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Dimon Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 644 E. Grand Avenue, Tower City, PA 17980 to help with expenses.
