Robert Duane Bergeson, 88 of Lisbon, died Friday, October 26, 2018 at Parkside Lutheran Home, Lisbon, North Dakota. Robert was born on December 11, 1929, the son of Albert and Mabel (Sorlein) Bergeson in Lisbon, North Dakota. He was raised and educated in Lisbon.

As young man, Robert enlisted in the United States Air Force until receiving an honorable discharge in 1952. Robert married Lois “Mardell” Nunn on December 26, 1951 in Webster, South Dakota. They made their home in Lisbon and Robert worked at Melroe Bobcat until his retirement.

He then worked at Ray Mac part-time for a few years. Robert loved baseball, especially the New York Yankees. He also enjoyed watching the NDSU Bison football team.

Robert is survived by his daughter, Roberta (Harold) Bakken of Huntsville, AL; granddaughters, Jennifer (Wayne) Stevens and Heidi (Carl) Jonas; great granddaughters, Meghann Kennedy and Lindsey Surmann; foster daughter, Joyce (Johanson) Rhodes; brother John Bergeson Robert was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Mardell.
