Robert’s Obituary Robert Burnett, 54 of Guntown, Mississippi passed away March 3, 2019. He was born December 15, 1964 in Los Angeles, California and was the son of the late, Charles Allen Burnett and Artie Geraldean Jones Burnett. Robert was Catholic by faith and was an EMT-Paramedic.

Robert was a kind person who loved his work and saving lives. Robert loved to teaching EMS and first responders. He enjoyed collecting old items of any kind, decorating Christmas tree was his favorite, he was known to put up as many as 6 Christmas trees in one year.

He loved going to yard sales and browse for something new that he did not have yet. He loved to spoil the grandkids and shop online for their Christmas. Robert loved to teaching EMS and first responders.

Survivors are his spouse Miles R. Whitehead, his children, Brooklyn Ann Burnett of Guntown, MS and Cory Auston Snow of Arkansas, Roger Whitehead of Guntown, Mississippi, Jennifer Harris of Guntown, Mississippi and Beth Howard of Guntown, Mississippi, two brothers, Charles Allen Burnett of Pine Bluff, Arkansas and Roy Alvin Burnett of Texas and three sisters, Pattie Ann Burnett-Bonnes of Douglassville, Texas, Marilyn Lee Burnett of Linden, Texas and Mary Burnett and Eleven grandchildren. Visitation held on Thursday, March 7, 2019 from 1-3 PM, followed by funeral services at 3 PM, both held at Griffin Funeral Home.
