Obituary for Robert E. Pilmer Robert E. Pilmer, age 84, of Alliance, rejoined his twin brother Richard D. Pilmer. Bob passed away at 12:21 p.m. Monday, September 10, 2018, at McCrea Manor. He was born February 19, 1934 in Columbiana County, Ohio to Bert and Edna (Lisbon) Pilmer.

Bob had worked for more than 30 years at Transue and Williams, and in his younger days, enjoyed building mini-bikes. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army. Survivors include his wife, Charlene M. (Akins) Pilmer, who he married November 14, 1959; son, Robert M. (Cheryl) Pilmer; three grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one sister, Florence Tuel.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his twin brother, Richard D. Pilmer; sisters, Catherine Hartley, Ruth Smith and Mary Wernet; brothers, Walter Pilmer, and Fred Pilmer; and his son, Kevin Lee Pilmer. Private Services will be held. Robert will be laid to rest next to his twin brother, Richard at Grove Hill Cemetery in Hanoverton, Ohio.
