Obituary for Robert Eugene Wilson Robert Eugene Wilson 64 of Boaz passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at Huntsville Hospital. Robert was a loving, compassionate father and an amazing Pawpaw to his two granddaughters who lived life on his own terms. He was known for his outstanding personality and his views on life and how to live it.

He had a love for sports, especially college football where he lettered in football at the University of Georgia from 1972 until 1975. Robert is survived by his Sons; Adam Landon Wilson (Myrna), John Robert Wilson, Granddaughters; Savannah Jean Wilson and Vivienne Rose Wilson, Brothers; Charles Wilson (Charisse), Chris Palmer (Renee), Step-Father; Myron “Hoppy” Palmer, Nieces and Nephews; Heath Wilson (Laura), Derek Wilson (Skylar), Cameron Palmer, Morgan Palmer (Jones). He is preceded in death by his Parents; Gene Wilson and Betty Palmer, Nephew; Trent Wilson.

Funeral Service will be 12 noon Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Etowah Memorial Chapel with visitation from 10 until 12 before the service. A Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Sunday EST. at Oconee Hill Cemetery in Athens, Georgia.
