Robert F. Franckowiak, age 79 died suddenly on November 15, 2018. He was the son of the late Francis & Helen Franckowiak, he was also preceded in death by an infant brother, Francis. He was born in Trenton, New Jersey and graduated from Trenton Catholic High School in 1959.

He was a proud Marine serving in the first Beirut crisis. He worked in the trucking industry in management and as a driver. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Susan his son, Troy Franckowiak (Yundi), his daughter, Trisha, grandchildren, Jesse, Michael, Alexander and Angelina, sisters, Joyce Berryman and Judy Geraci (Tom), his sister-in-law & brother-in-law, Linda & John Sanders and many cousins, nieces & nephews.

He loved his wife, children, grandchildren, friends and German shepherds. He was competitive, fun loving & tenderhearted. Memorial Services will be on Monday, December 17th at 11 AM at the Cranston Funeral Home, 300 N. Shipley St, Seaford, DE.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations may be made to any German Shepherd Rescue or Delaware Family Policy Council, P O Box 925, Seaford, DE 19973.
