Obituary for Robert G Norcross Norcross, Robert G. On Sunday, September 23rd, loving husband and father of three children, Robert Gerald Norcross passed away at the age of 89. Bob was born on November 22nd, 1928 in Minneapolis, MN. There he met his future wife, Erma Norcross where he gallantly painted his car the color of her choosing the day they met.

They were married on October 2nd, 1949 and had 3 children who they raised in Golden Valley, MN. The eldest of five, Bob was always there to make sure his family was taken care of. This was a trait that only left him in passing.

He was known for his love of golf, a quick-wit, priceless life stories, and an encyclopedic knowledge of jokes. Preceded in death by his mother Myrtle (stepfather Merle Daniels) and father Robert H., brothers Dean and Richard, and sister Barbara. He is survived by his wife, Erma, children Randy, Ginger, and Wendy (Frank), his brother Wayne (Nancy), grandchildren Rachel, Shane, Elisha, Kelsey, Kara, and Daniel, and great-grandchildren Skyler, Maddox, Finna, and Lucie as well as many other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 30th, 2018 at Washburn-McReavy Strobeck Johnson Chapel at 2pm. Visitation will be held prior to the service at 12:30pm. A reception will follow the service.

October 1st, 2018 full honor burial at Fort Snelling at 1:30pm for family and close friends.
