Robert is survived by their wife, Marie Merritt; son Robert Merritt; daughter Terri Witt; and daughter Christy Mann.

A visitation for Robert will be held Saturday, July 14, 2018 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Matrin Funeral Home Central, 3839 Montana Ave. , El Paso, Texas 79903. Following the visitation will be a graveside service at 11:30 PM at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, 4848 Alps Dr., El Paso, Texas 79904.
