Robert H. Nellis, age 81 of Caroga Lake, passed away on Friday May 3, 2019 at Nathan littauer Nursing Home, Gloversville. He was born on October 07, 1937 in Johnstown a son of the late Harold C. and Mildred E. Dickinson Nellis. Robert was a graduate of Johnstown High School.

He was employed as a truck driver for St. Johnsbury until his retirement. Survivors include his wife Patricia Hine Nellis whom he married on August 31, 1957. Three sons; Robert M. (Marlene) Nellis of Caroga lake, Randy (Pam) Nellis of Johnstown and Daniel (Joyce) Nellis of Caroga Lake; Three daughters Mary Port of Caroga Lake, Sharon (Robert) Stock of Caroga Lake and Kathy (Bill) Gentile-Guzielek of Gloversville, one brother Howard (Harriett) Nellis of Johnstown; one sister Shirley (Don Thompson) Nellis of Gloversville; 13 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was predeceased by a brother Jim Nellis and his son-in-law Arthur Port. Visitation for friends and family will be on Tuesday May 07, 2019 at the funeral home from 11:00 AM until 1:00PM A funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday May 7, 2019 at 1:00 PM at the A.G. Cole Funeral Home, Inc. 215 East Main Street, Johnstown. Interment will be in Johnstown Cemetery.
