Obituary for Robert H. Rieger Robert Henry Rieger, Born on October 20, 1925 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to the late Mary (Gonka) Rieger and Harry August Rieger, passed away peacefully and surrounded by loved ones at age 93 on October 24, 2018. Robert, a lifelong resident of Ross Township in Pittsburgh, served in the Marine Corps from 1943 to 1946 in World War II and was stationed in Okinawa, Japan. He worked at U.S. Steel as an accountant in the tax law department.

Robert was the beloved husband of the late Norma (Ellisher) Rieger. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jack Rieger; and sister, Doris Innamorato. Robert is survived by his sons, David (Barbara) Rieger and Robert Rieger; daughters, Linda (David) Lundy and Janice Rieger; brothers, James Rieger and Raymond Rieger; grandchildren, Emily (Eric) Wilfong, Gregory (Evelyn) Lundy, and Jennifer (Evan) Coates; and great-grandchildren, Clara Lundy, Clyde Wilfong, George Lundy, Teagan Coates, Everett Coates, Rowan Coates, and Naomi Wilfong.
