Robert Heinz December 26, 1936 – May 03, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Robert Heinz, 82, Lake Mills, passed away on Friday, May 3, 2019, at his home. He was born on December 26, 1936 at Elgin, Illinois, the son of the late Paul and Rosella Heinz. Bob was a resident of Madison and Lake Mills for over 50 years and had graduated from Lake Mills High School, class of 1955.

He had been employed by the Madison Water Department for 38 years as a locater. Bob attended the Rock Lake Baptist Church in Lake Mills. He was a very quiet person who enjoyed playing cards, bingo, the Packers and Brewers.

Bob was a recovering Bears fan. Survivors include his companion for many years, Judy Campbell of Lake Mills; a sister, Rosemary Ellestad of Whitewater; his extended family, Robert (Heidi) Campbell of Waterloo, Beth (Mike) Meyers of Minocqua, William (Brenda) Campbell of Lake Mills; grandchildren, Ryan Meyers of Wausau, Cassi (Brian) Rupnow of Arbor Vitae; great-grandchildren, Owen and Jossi; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Also preceding in death was a brother-in-law, Maury Ellestad and a sister in infancy.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 9, 2019, at 11 a.m. at the Rock Lake Baptist Church in Lake Mills with Pastor Rob Stroup officiating. Burial will be in the Rock Lake Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.

If desired, memorials may be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Association, church, or Jefferson County Humane Society. www.
