OBITUARY Robert J Lavoie February 13, 1933 – January 18, 2019 Robert J. Lavoie, “Tish”, age 85, of Swansea, passed away on Friday, January 18, 2019 at St. Anne’s Hospital in Fall River. He was the beloved husband of Nancy (St. Pierre) Lavoie; they were married for 42 years. Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Omer and Rosaline “Rose” (Tanguay) Lavoie.

Tish was a Little League Umpire for 50 years in Fall River as well as in Swansea; he coached soccer at Case High School and was an avid golfer. Besides his wife, he is survived by his son, Robert Lavoie of Swansea; Step –children, Paul and Kevin Shoesmith both of Swansea and Kim Powers of Little River, SC; Predeceased by his daughter, Catherine Wheeler; Three grandchildren, Robert Powers III. , Erin Nelson and Stephanie Shoesmith and four great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 from 5:00-8:00PM in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Birchcrest, 189 Gardners Neck Road, Swansea.
