He was born May 5, 1979 in McKeesport and was the son of Robert Brooks and Jane (Gioia) Kite of Lincoln Borough. Robert was a member of Liberty Presbyterian Church and worked for Sisko Waterproofing Co. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Matthew D. Kite of Elizabeth Township, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and his dog, Bear.

Friends are welcome Friday, January 11, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-8:00 pm at he Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. (412) 751-5000 Drew J. Gilbert, Director. Service will be held in the funeral home chapel Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 10:00 am.

Pastor Debbie Smith will be officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Vernon Cemetery, Elizabeth Township.
