OBITUARY Robert John Gange August 15, 1955 – September 22, 2018 Robert (“Bobby”) J. Gange, Jr. passed away unexpectedly on September 22, 2018 due to cardiovascular disease while founding a startup business, Proteus Solutions, in Shenzhen City, China. Bobby was born on August 15, 1955, in Brooklyn, New York. He graduated Holy Family High School in 1973, received a BS in biology from SUNY Brockport in 1977, and his MBA from Adelphi University in 1982.

Bobby spent his career serving as both CEO and CFO of semicondoctuer manufacturers. He was known for his ability to make everyone around him laugh with his quick wit and sometimes brutally shocking honesty. Bobby’s incredible drive and work ethic stands as one of his most admirable qualities.

His favorite things included the New York Yankees, the New York Giants, listening to the Beatles, cooking healthy meals, staying up all night binge watching Breaking Bad with his daughters, and, most recently, showing off pictures of his granddaughter. Bobby also had a great passion for world history. Bobby is survived by his two daughters, Mary Elizabeth Rizzo and Caroline Gange, his granddaughter, Vivienne Jane Rizzo, his son-in-law, Eric Rizzo, his sister, Mary Anne Santulli, his brother, James Gange, several nieces and nephews, and his golden retriever, Harry.

He is predeceased by his parents, Robert J. Gange, Sr. and Mary Joan Gange, and beloved sister, Jane Herder. Wake will be held on Friday October 5 at Joseph G. Duffy Funeral Home 255 9th Street Brooklyn, NY from 6-9pm. Funeral mass will be on Saturday October 6 at Holy Name Church 245 Prospect Park West at 10am.
