Obituary for Robert John Zimmerman ZIMMERMAN Robert John; Beloved husband of Gail (nee Zinser) Zimmerman; Devoted father of Jeff (Emily) Zimmerman, Mark Zimmerman and Melissa (Steven) Setzer; Dear grandfather of Tyler, Elle, Jake, Jade, Emma and Gemma; Brother of Pamela Foerster; Robert passed away on Saturday November 17, 2018 at the age of 61; Rob was a committed church member and served in many different roles. Affectionately known as “Poppy” by his grand kids, Rob was loved by his family and friends. Rob coached his kids in baseball and was involved in church softball.
Most recently his favorite thing to do was to watch and cheer on his grandchildren at their games and recitals. Visitation will be held at Bible Baptist Church 1249 Symmes Road Fairfield, Ohio on Wednesday from 10:00 A.M. until time of funeral service at 12 Noon.
