OBITUARY Robert Joseph Koy August 23, 1936 – October 15, 2018 Robert (Bob) Koy entered eternal rest on October 15, 2018. A native Houstonian, Bob worked in the oil industry at Skurlock Oil Ashland. Always trying to improve life for his family, he set and achieved goals.

He went to night school and completed his degree at the University of Houston and became a Certified Public Accountant. Family was important to Bob. He enjoyed vacationing with them and cheering their participation in sports and dance.

His wife, Eyvonne Koy, his son, Gene Washburn and brother, Arthur Koy, preceded Bob in death. He leaves behind to cherish his memory sister, Marie Sheltz; his children, Kenneth Washburn and his wife Deborah, Julie Angle and her husband David; his grandchildren, Nicole Washburn and husband Christopher, Kenneth Washburn, Jr. and his wife Sarah, Andrew Angle, and Alexandra Angle; his great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 18, 2018 from 5-8 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, October 19, 2018 at 10 AM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery. Donations can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
