Obituary for Robert M. Learzaf, Jr. Robert M. (Bob) Learzaf, Jr. on Friday, June 29, 2018, Bob suddenly passed away at his home. Bob was preceded in death by his mother and father, Robert M. Learzaf, Sr. and Marie I. (Mayer) Learzaf. He is survived by his step-father, James Mayer and his sisters, Carolyn Laufer and family and Barbara Clarey and family.

Bob had many cousins and their families, and his dear life long friends. Bob was a great outdoors enthusiast and enjoyed fishing and hunting. For 26 years he was involved with the BSA, he himself was an Eagle Scout, Scoutmaster and Explorer Advisor.

For over 25 years he was a living historian as a trapper/tracker circa 1750-1800 period and was involved with many historical sites as Bushy Run Battlefield, school presentations and civic groups. Bob worked as a plumber with his father in their plumbing business and later worked as a crew leader and custodial guide for the Pennsylvania Historical Museum Commission. He also worked at Aerotech Inc. until his retirement in 2015.

Bob, you will be missed by your family and dear friends forever, gone too soon! A memorial service will be held on July 28, 2018 at the Verona United Methodist Church in Verona, 798 Herron Ave. Verona, PA 15147 at 2 pm.
