Robert’s Obituary Robert L. Boeckholt, age 83, of Topeka passed away Thursday, May 2, 2019 at the Topeka V.A. Hospital. Bob was born April 21, 1936 in Buffalo Center, Iowa the son of William and Minnie (Karls) Boeckholt. Bob served in the U.S. Army during the Korean war.

He married Sandra Fjetland in 1960. She preceded him in death December 2, 2011. Bob worked in Iowa at Winnebago Industries.

While in Topeka, he worked for Wilcox Trailers and drove a truck for Zirkles and Food4Less. Bob was a member of the American Legion Post #400. He is survived by his daughter, Brenda (Gerrald) Sleep of Topeka; two sisters, Shirley Starkey of Shelton, Connecticut and Janice Lester of Clear Lake, Iowa and three grandsons, Douglas, Andrew and Cody.

He was preceded in death by a son, Brent in 1981. Memorial visitation will be Monday, May 6, 2019 from 5:00 – 6:30 p.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home. Inurnment will be in Iowa.
