Obituary for Robert P. Metzinger Age 88, of Jefferson Hills, passed away on Thursday, November 29, 2018. Beloved husband of the late Clara (Keener) Metzinger; loving father of Kathryn Metzinger, Karen Wagner, Michael (Karen) Metzinger and the late Sandra Mitrecic; cherished grandfather of Claire (Tomy) Germello, Amy (Jeff) Railsback and Benjamin Wagner. Robert was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War and a proud member of the Pittsburgh Plumbers Local 27.

Family and friends received at the GRIFFITH FUNERAL HOME, 5636 Brownsville Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15236 on Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Mass at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church, Pleasant Hills, on Wednesday at 10 a.m. Burial with Military Honors at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies on Friday, December 7, 2018. Everyone is asked to please meet at the cemetery at 2:15 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
