Northbridge–Robert R. Sylvestre died Monday, January 14, while surrounded by loving family. He was 61. Mr. Sylvestre is survived by his wife of 37 years, Rosemarie (Rattie) Sylvestre, and son, Eric Sylvestre, of North Providence; three brothers, David, of Cumberland, RI, James, of Pascoag, RI, and Joseph, of Harrisville, RI; two sisters, Linda Salome, of Wilmington, NC and Michelle Maculan, of Woonsocket; and many nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his brother Leo, in 2015. Mr. Sylvestre was born April 12, 1957 in Woonsocket, RI, a son of the late Leo P. and Muriel (Dusablon) Sylvestre. He graduated from Woonsocket High School in 1976 and had lived in North Providence until moving to Northbridge, in 2010, to be closer to his work.

For more than 21 years he worked at Coremark, in Northbridge, retiring in 2014 as a purchasing manager. Calling Hours are Thursday, January 24, from 5-7PM, at the Carr Funeral Home, 24 Hill St., Whitinsville. A Memorial Service will be Friday, January 25 at 11AM, at the Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, 1 Rhode Island Ave.
