Robert Ray Sherman left to be with the Lord and his parents on December 9, 2018 Robert was born to Clarence and Lila “Alfson” Sherman Champlin, on November 4, 1951. Robert is presided in death by both of his parents and step father Theodore Champlin, and Brother Alan Sherman. Robert is survived by his daughter, Serina and husband Richard Dixon , sons Michael his wife Becky Sherman , Billy and his wife Rachel Sherman, grandchildren, Drew, McKenzie, Haleigh, Paige, Brayden Sherman, and Ethan Sucher, along with many nieces, nephews, family and loyal friends.

He ran an appliance business with his step father, Theodore Champlin, for several years in south Oklahoma City, selling appliances and making service calls to make repairs. He also worked at Dick’s TV and Appliances. Robert worked for OCHA for several years, before retiring in 2014.

He enjoyed fishing, listening to Motown and country music, spending time with his grandchildren when they came to visit. He loved his children and grandchildren very much. And he would do anything for them if he was able.

He was happy to lend a hand to any and all that may have needed it. He worked on cars and was a great handy man. Robert will be forever loved and missed dearly.

We will see you again someday. Private Service for his children, close family and friends will be held at a later date.
