Robert L. “Thee Rob” Stanley, 62, of Sandusky, passed away after a 6-month battle with cancer in Stein Hospice Care Center on Sunday, December 2, 2018. He was born on November 21, 1956 in Sandusky and was a 1975 graduate of Sandusky High School. He was employed at Accel Color and Pick-N-Pay.

A talented artist, Thee Rob was also the #1 The Beatles Fan. He loved his Cleveland sports teams and Ohio State Buckeyes. Thee Rob is survived by his father, Robert G. Stanley; mother, Shirley Meyer; sisters, Kim (Victor) Chavarria and Kristi (Fred) Yado; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his sisters, Tammi and Deann Stanley; and brothers, Jeff Stanley and Dale, in infancy. Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, December 5 in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave. , Sandusky.

Per his wishes, cremation will follow and burial will take place in Oakland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Thee Rob’s name to Stein Hospice, 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, OH 44870. Condolences may be shared with the family by visiting toftfuneralhome.com.
