OBITUARY Robert W. Fitzer Sr. May 19, 1931 – September 20, 2018 Robert W. Fitzer Sr., 87, of Berkeley Twp. , NJ, passed away on Thursday Sept 20, 2018. Born in Irvington, NJ, Robert was raised in Maplewood and lived in Irvington for many years before moving to Berkeley Twp.

23 years ago. He was a veteran of the US Marine Corp. Robert worked as a machinist at Atlantic Manufacturing Inc. in Irvington for 43 years retiring in 1991.

Robert was predeceased by his wife Rose A. Fitzer in 2015. He is survived by two sons, Rudy and Wendy Fitzer and Robert and Anita Fitzer; and also 6 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Visiting hours will be on Monday September 24, 2018 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road Toms River, NJ 08755.

A funeral service will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Tuesday , September 25, 2018 at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Brigadier Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery.
