Obituary for Robert W Magee Hamburg: Robert W. Magee, 83, passed away at his home on Sunday April 8, 2018. Robert was born on July 14, 1934 in Paterson, NJ to the late Robert A. and Rose (nee Smith) Magee. Robert was a resident of Pompton Lakes, NJ and Myrtle Beach, SC before moving to Hamburg, NJ.

He was a communications manager for New Jersey Bell and AT&T for 32 years retiring in 1980. He served in the United States Army. He was on the Pompton Lakes Board of Education, was a past president of the Pompton Lakes Rotary Club, a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Church, and volunteered with the Boy Scouts of America.

Robert is survived by his loving wife Joan (nee Vandercliff) Magee, and his four children, Robert J. Magee and his wife Marylee of Mooresville, NC, Melory Weber and her husband Robert of Highland Lakes, Michael P. Magee and his wife Karen of Pompton Lakes and Elizabeth Stitz and her husband David of Ramsey and his cherished eleven grandchildren and six great grandchildren and a sister, Marilyn Jackiewicz and her husband Robert of Lower Gwynedd, PA and his nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial service on Friday April 20th at 10:30AM at St. Francis de Sales RC Church 614 Route 517, Vernon, NJ committal service to follow at Northern New Jersey Veterans Cemetery 75 North Church Road, Sparta, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations to Alzheimer’s Association or St. Francis De Sales Church.
