Mr. Robert Wayne Tucker, age 78, of Altoona, passed away Friday, February 15, 2019 in Louisiana. His funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at Etowah Memorial Chapel. Rev.

Gerald DeWeese and Rev. Kenneth Lasseter will officiate. Interment will follow in Altoona-Walnut Grove Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be James Wilburn, Will Elledge, Jeff Wilburn, Max Helburn, Rick Nash and Johnny Grant. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Altoona Ambulance Service and city employees. Visitation will be on Monday, from 5 until 8 at the funeral home.

He is survived by his wife, Freda E. Tucker, son, Thomas (Laura) Tucker, daughters, Sharon Nugent, Tina Nailer and Karen Hopper, grandchildren, Brandon , Gabriella, Dakotah, Haley, Jacob, Ethan, Kelli, Makynzie , Grace and Ella, six great-grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, John H. and Georgia Annie Tucker, daughter, Carol Lynn Renfroe, brothers, Harold and Adrian Tucker, sisters, Mildred Walden, Johnnie Gilmer, Barbara Sitz and Christine Abbott.
