Roberta Carsten Dye, passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2019. She was born January 27, 1928 in Chavis, Kentucky, the daughter of Allison and Manda (Davidson) White. Survivors include: Her daughter, Phyllis Cobb, of Springfield; a granddaughter, Penny Pinkley of Springfield; two great-granddaughters, Macheall Lance and husband Shiloh of Clever, and Brittany Ott of Springfield; four great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Theda Burgess; nieces and nephews, and a multitude of relatives.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Jim Carsten; her second husband Delbert Dye; a grandson, James Wayne Cobb; three half-sisters, Elsie Judd, Viola Hibbs, and Cleta Boone; two half-brothers, Colonel and Chief Mullins; and other beloved relatives. Visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 PM Friday, May 31, in Adams Funeral Home, Nixa. A graveside service will be 1:00 PM Saturday, June 1, in Jones-Chastain Cemetery, south of Nixa with Pastor Gary Jennings officiating.
