OBITUARY Roberta Joan Marmor July 12, 1927 – September 8, 2018 Roberta Joan Marmor July 12, 1927 – September 8th, 2018 Age 91. Joan loved biology, was a skilled surgical nurse, and an accomplished seamstress who in her 90’s said she wanted to be an artist. She was an independent woman who loved and cherished her family.

She was born in Osakis Minnesota and moved to Oklahoma when she was a young girl. In 1951 she graduated as a registered nurse from St John’s School of Nursing in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Shortly afterwards she met her husband at a nurse’s dance.

Joan and Robert were happily married for 62 years and lived a well traveled life together, eventually settling in San Antonio, Texas. Joan’s husband predeceased her in 2013. In 2014 Joan moved to Roland Park Place in Baltimore, MD to be close to her daughter, where she was cared for by a loving staff and family.

Joan is survived by two of her three children, their spouses, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
