STEIGER, Robert D. “Bob”, age 86, of Centerville passed away on Friday, October 5, 2018. Bob was born to Herman and Thelma (nee Brown) Steiger on August 1, 1932 in Lima, OH. He graduated from Lima High School and Carnegie Tech (Carnegie Mellon).

Bob was a salesman for J.C. Hofstetter Co. and then Electro Supply Co He was a long time member of Centerville United Methodist Church. Bob is preceded in death by his first wife, Marjorie (nee Sale) in 1988.

He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Judy G. Steiger (nee Schindler); children, Bill (Cathy) Steiger of Milford, OH, Carolyn (Dan) Miller of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren, Amanda (Ben) Hunt, Rebecca (Joe) Eglseder, Robert Steiger, Katharine Miller, Alexandra Miller, Thomas Steiger; great-grandchildren, Nate, Bailey, Owen, Harper; sister, Ann Cope. Family will greet friends from 10-11am on Tuesday, October 9th at Centerville United Methodist Church, 63 East Franklin St, Centerville. Funeral Service will begin at 11am at the church with Pastor Tony Miltenberger officiating.
