SICHMAN, Robert “Bob” S., age 69, of Vandalia, OH, passed away on Friday, September 14, 2018. Bob was born on March 11, 1949 in Fairfield, OH to the late Stephen A. and Ethel L. (nee Karovich) Sichman. He graduated from Chaminade HS in 1967, and went on to earn his B.A. at Wright State University.

Bob was also a proud veteran of the U.S Army Reserve. After his service Bob went on to own and operate Boeckman Meats, which he successfully ran for over 20 years. He spent the second half of his career working for the city of Dayton department of water.

He was involved with many organizations, including the Milton Club, SICSA, Humane Society, 10th Life; and was a lifetime member of St. Joseph’s Church. Bob had a special talent of bringing people together, and loved socializing and spending time with friends, coworkers, former classmates, and most of all, his family. Robert is preceded in death by his brother, James Sichman.

He was survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Jean Sichman; children, Kelly (Joseph) Gabriel, Matthew (Faith) Sichman, Joseph (Teresa) Sichman; grandchildren, Arthur, Edward, Gabriella and Liam; and numerous extended family and friends.
