Obituary of Robert Monnich Robert W. Monnich, 88, of Chippewa Township, died Friday, April 20, 2018 in his residence. Born August 29, 1929 in Luxor, PA, he was the son of the late Frank and Helen (Kirkland) Monnich and husband to the late Mary Ann (Wilt) Monnich who died in 1995. He was Fuller Brush district manager and a retired police officer for the Chippewa Twp.

Police Department. He was a member of the FOP (Fraternal Order of Police) and the Air Heritage Museum at the Beaver County Airport. Robert served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.

He is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Robert (Michele) Monnich, South Beaver Twp. , and Harry Monnich, Patterson Twp. ; a daughter and son-in-law, Lisa (Clark) Fowler, Jr., Charlotte, NC; 15 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law, Donald (Kathy) Monnich, South Carolina; and his companion June Elmer, South Beaver Twp.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a sister, Katherine “Sis” Marquis; and a daughter, Cheryl Miller. Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM and Thursday from 10 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM. in Campbell’s Chippewa Funeral Home, 2618 Darlington Road, Beaver Falls.

Roland (Sonny) Blucher will be officiating. Entombment will follow in Sylvania Hills Mausoleum, Rochester, PA. Memorial contributions may be made to Air Heritage Museum, 35 Piper Street, Beaver Falls, PA 15010.

Veteran’s Honor Guard will conduct full military honors at the Mausoleum at 12 Noon.
