She married Floyd Leon Parsley on June 7, 1945. She was preceded in death by her husband; son, Darryl; and sisters, Clara Belle Lance, Willie Winnett, Nell Barnett and Dollye Elam.

Mrs. Parsley is survived by son, Kenneth (Reba) Parsley; granddaughters, Shelley (Greg) Burchyett, Stacey (Jason) Loy; and grandsons, Zachary and Stephen Burchyett, Nathaniel and Benjamin Loy. Visitation with family will be at High Funeral Home in McMinnville, TN on Thursday, May 16th from 1:00pm to 3:00pm. Graveside service and interment will follow visitation at 3:30 pm Thursday at Webb Cemetery in McMinnville, TN with her great-great nephew Drew Milligan presiding.

Donations to Neelys Bend Church of Christ or Churches of Christ Disaster Relief are suggested in lieu of flowers.
