Obituary for Robin Gale Vanzant Print Robin Vanzant – Gate City, VA Robin Gale Vanzant, 47, Gate City, VA passed away, Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at her residence. Robin was born in Sullivan County, TN on August 21, 1971. She was the daughter of the late James and Rosie (Griffin) Neeley.
She was a loving wife, mother, and friend. Robin attended Wolfe’s Community Church until her health prevented her from doing so. In addition to her parents, her sisters, Linda and Connie Frazier preceded her in death.
Surviving is her husband, Eddie Vanzant; son, Jacob Lee Vanzant; brother, Wayne Neeley; niece, Courtney Frazier Purcell and husband, Drew; nephew, Jason Frazier; and best friend, Angie Thompson; along with many other friends and church family. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, February 7, 2019 at the Gate City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 8:00 p.m., in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel with Rev.
Joe Roberts and Rev. Jackie Frazier officiating. Courtney Frazier Purcell and Joe Roberts will provide the music.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Friday, February 8, 2019 at Family Cemetery in Redwine Hollow, Duffield, VA.
