Robin J. Wilcox, 62, of Chesterfield, IL passed away at St. Louis University Hospital on April 30, 2019 surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on October 27, 1956 in Joliet, IL the daughter of Robert Gardner and Nancy Krochmal. Robin was a huge fan of karaoke, bingo, attending auctions and antiquing, and riding motorcycles.

In conjunction with her late husband, she was also a huge part of the Carlinville and Gillespie Illinois VFWs. She was also a past President of the American Legion Jr.’s Club. Her children and grandchildren fondly remember her love for American Idol, music, and attending ghost hunts and tours throughout Illinois.

Robin was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Wilcox; father, Robert; and brother, Donald Gardner. She is survived by her children, Richard Allen, Robert Burke (wife, Tiffany), Sarah Burke (companion, Stephen Musick), Margaret Burke (husband, Matthew Hupp), and Jacob Burke; grandchildren, Jordon, Kyra, Peyton, Mia, Ezabella, David, Madison, Tanner, and Henry; mother, Nancy Krochmal and step-father, Walter Krochmal; siblings, Dawn Silvers, Robert Gardner Jr., and Kimberly Bernard (husband, Mike); as well as many beloved nieces and nephews. Cremation will be accorded through Springfield Crematory and Ellinger-Kunz and Park Funeral Homes, 530 N. Fifth St. Springfield IL 62702.

Burial will take place at Camp Butler National Cemetery and private family services will be held. Memorial donations may be made in c/o funeral expenses and any donations that over compensate the funeral cost will be donated to Toys for Tots.
