Roger Allen Dytmire, Sr., 66, of Muncie, passed away January 30, 2019. He was born in Muncie, January 21, 1953 to the late William Dytmire and Dorothy (Stout) Dytmire Nunley. Roger worked for Muncie Community Schools in the Maintenance Department for 30 years.

He enjoyed bowling, woodworking, fishing, hunting, and attending auctions. Roger could also be found frequenting Muncie’s Bob Evans restaurant. Roger leaves behind the love of his life, his wife of 48 years, Kathy (Meadows) Dytmire; sons: Allen (Wanda) Dytmire and Paul (Andrea) Dytmire; 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; nephews: Chris (Jessica) Dytmire and Robert (Mary) Dytmire; and nieces: Jennifer Dytmire and Amy Dytmire.

Roger was preceded in death by his brothers: Don, Richard, and Bill Dytmire. Per the request of Roger and his family, cremation will be afforded. Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 North State Road 3, Muncie, has been entrusted with arrangements.
