Roger Longo, 64, of Sheppton, passed away Saturday, December 29th, 2018. Roger was born in Hazleton on October 22, 1954, a son of the late Lois J. (Neidlinger) and Joseph R. Longo. He was retired, having last worked as a equipment operator for East Union Township.

Roger was an avid fisherman, and he loved his pets, Benjie and Mr. Meow. He is survived by his daughter, Kim Hartman, of Virginia; a son, Jason Longo, of Mahanoy City; a twin brother, Thomas Longo and his wife Lisa, of Paducah, KY; brother Joseph Longo and his wife Jeanette, of Brandonville; and by sisters, Mary Jo VanGieson, of Sheppton and Caroline McFadden, of Berwick. He is also survived by his companion, Debbie Malore, of Sheppton along with grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at 6 PM on Saturday, January 5th at the Stauffer-Breznik Funeral Home, 412 West Main Street, Ringtown, with Rev. Craig Zimmerman officiating. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Rogers family from 4 PM to 6 PM on Saturday, January 5th at the funeral home prior to the service.
