Roger Reed February 10, 1934 – March 16, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Roger Grant Reed, age 85, of Pine River, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 16, 2019. He was born to Guy and Jennie Reed on February 10, 1934, in Minneapolis. Roger served in the U.S. Army and U.S. Marines.

Roger is survived by his wife, Julia; children: Dan Reed (Paula), Matthew Meyers (Bettina), Beth Miller (Dan), Susan Gapinski (Patrick); stepsons: Kevin Bebensee (Julie), Ted Bebensee (Ann); 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Jan Reed; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Joanne; and by 18 hours, his brother, Gary Reed. We will celebrate Roger’s homecoming with a visitation at Kline Funeral Home in Pine River on Wednesday, March 20, from 5 to 7 PM, and also 11 AM on Thursday, March 21, at Woodcrest Baptist Church, 6875 University Ave.

NE, Fridley, MN, with visitation one hour prior. Graveside service will be at 10:30 AM on Friday, March 22 at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
