Ronald’s Obituary RONALD A. SHIREY, age 60 of Parkwood passed away on Saturday, January 19, 2019, at his residence after a lengthy illness surrounded by his loving family. Born and raised in Holmesburg, Ron lived in Parkwood for the past 22 years. He graduated from Father Judge High School and Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree.

Ron worked as a support specialist at the Defense Industrial Supply Center in Phila. He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed playing the guitar and was a history buff. Beloved husband of 19 years of Margaret M. Shirey ( nee Hogan ); devoted father of Nicholas Shirey, Daniel Shirey, Dawn Krieger ( Jeremiah ) and Sarah Sauter ( Jordan ); brother of Cynthia Mitchell ( the late David ), Beverly Pettine ( Thomas ) and the late Renee Shirey; also survived by nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Gathering on Friday, January 25, 2019, from 10:30 am-11:30 am at the FLUEHR FUNERAL HOME 864 Bristol Pk. ( Rt. 13 ) Bensalem, Pa.

19020. Interment will be private. NO VIEWING THURSDAY EVENING.
