Ronald C. Charlier 85, of Jamestown, PA. formerly of McDonald, died, Saturday, May 5, 2018. He was born October 13, 1932 in Robinson Twp.

a son of Calvin and Edith Baker Charlier. Mr. Charlier was a graduate of West Allegheny High School. He worked as a psychiatric aide at Woodville State hospital for over 30 years.

He retired in 1985. He enjoyed fishing, going to dinner with his companion of 18 years Janet Rosser of Midway, and riding his John Deere tractor. On June 15, 1970 he married Catherine L. Sheets who died July 24, 1998.

Surviving are two daughters, Cindy L. Gonze of Munhall, PA. and Linda S. Merritt of Baden, PA. ; a son Ronald J. Charlier of McDonald, PA; two brothers, Albert “Tubby” Charlier of Midway, PA.

and Calvin “Bud” Charlier of Hermitage, PA; two grandchildren Tyler and Brett Merritt. Deceased is a sister Donna “Doe” Clark. Family will receive friends Wednesday, May 9, 2018 from 4-8Pm at Nation Funeral Home Inc. 220 E. Lincoln Ave.

McDonald, PA. 15057; where services will be held Thursday May 10, 2018 at 11:00Am. Interment will follow in Robinson Run Cemetery McDonald, PA.
