OBITUARY Mr. Ronald Eugene Rodden May 18, 1943 – September 27, 2018 High Point – Ronald Eugene Rodden, 75, passed away at his home in High Point on Thursday, September 27, 2018. He was born in Statesville on May 18, 1943 to the late Paul and Marie Rodden. He is survived by his sons, James Rodden, John Rodden and Joseph Rodden along with five grandsons and two granddaughters as well as his sister, Linda Brady.

After serving in the United States Air Force, Ronald joined the High Point Police Department where he worked until he retired in 1992. Ronald loved to travel. His favorite place to visit was Cherry Grove Beach.

He had a quick wit and always seemed to run into someone he knew, no matter where he went. He will be greatly missed by the people who loved him. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Ronald’s name to the Discovery Fund for the Comprehensive Cancer Center at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.
