Private funeral services for Ronald J. Teer, 75, of Leroy Township, were held by his family. Interment will be in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, Ohio. Mr. Teer was born August 15, 1943 in Painesville and passed away December 3, 2018 at David Simpson Hospice House in Cleveland.

Ronald served in U. S. Air Force for 4 years from 1964 to 1968. He was employed by Bailey Meter Company in Wickliffe as a systems engineer, retiring in 2006. He enjoyed restoring classic cars, taking canoe trips, and he loved to go fishing.

He is survived by his daughter, Sherrie Teer; grandchildren, Maria and Nicole Unterwagner; nephews, James (Scarlett) Mcneilly and Tim (Kathy) Mcneilly; nieces, Kathleen (Jerry) Peyton and Barbara (Dave) Hanson; good friend and neighbor, Jennifer Springer. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, Sebastian and Catherine (Hribar) Teer; sister, Jean Matthews; and his girlfriend, Cathy Moore. The family suggests memorial contributions be sent to the American Diabetes Association, 4500 Rockside Road, Independence, Ohio 44131.
