Ronald J. Weaver, age 80, of Richland Twp. , PA, died Sunday evening, September 16, 2018, at Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh. Born in Phillipsburg, PA on July 18, 1938, he was the son of the late Raymond and Frances Klosnick Weaver.

He was a 1956 graduate of Tyrone High School. Ron was a draftsman by trade and had worked as a parts manager for Fugh Refrigeration and also worked as a delivery driver for Auto Plus in Gibsonia. He served in the United States Army during Peacetime and was a social member of Mars V.F.W.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Surviving are a son, Ronald Weaver, II, and his fiancée, Sarah, and a brother, Richard “Rich” Weaver and his wife, Mary, of Mars. He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert R. Weaver.

Friends will be received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, PA on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Services will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
